Join thecrew

We're always looking for reliable, hard-working people to help build and run events across Mid Wales and the UK. Experience helps, but attitude matters most.

Work with us

Hard work. Great shows. Good people.

Every festival, wedding and conference needs people behind the scenes. Our crew build the stages, carry the kit, run the doors and clear it all away again.

We're a Mid Wales team based in Llanidloes, working events of every size across Wales and the UK. Work is booked job by job, so it can fit around other jobs, study or family.

You don't need years of experience for every role. If you're reliable, safe and happy to graft, we'd like to hear from you. Skilled crew and anyone with tickets like IPAF or PASMA are very welcome too.

FAQs

Joining the crew: common questions.

Do I need experience?

Not for every role. General crew work is a good way in, and you'll work alongside experienced crew. For skilled roles we'll ask about your experience and any tickets you hold.

What kind of work is it?

Event work, booked job by job. Some weeks are busy and others are quieter, especially outside the summer festival season. Tell us when you're free and we'll match you to jobs that fit.

How old do I need to be?

Our crew roles are for people aged 18 and over.

Do I need my own transport?

It helps, as many venues are rural, but it isn't essential. Let us know on the form and we'll talk about what's possible.

How will I be paid?

We'll go through rates, hours and how pay works when we call you, before you take on any work.

What happens after I apply?

You'll get an email to confirm we've got your application. We read every one, and if there's work that suits you we'll be in touch by phone or email.

Ready to join us?
